Receptree Terms of Service

1. Service Scope

Receptree is a global platform for creating, storing, and sharing Fujifilm film simulation recipes and related media.

Some features may be in beta, including optional desktop bridge components used to connect compatible camera workflows.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old, or older if required by your local law.
• You are responsible for account credentials and activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

3. User Content and License

• You retain ownership of content you upload.
• For public content, you grant Novasas a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and process that content to operate and improve Receptree.
• For private content, the license is limited to storing, securing, and displaying content to you within your account.
• You are responsible for rights clearance and legal compliance of your uploads.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
• Scrape or automate access without written permission.
• Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or security bypass.
• Upload malware, run attacks, or interfere with platform stability.

5. Paid Plans, Checkout, Renewal, and Cancellation

• Paid plans are offered through Stripe-hosted checkout and processed by Stripe.
• To purchase a paid plan, you select a premium plan in Receptree and are then redirected to Stripe to review pricing, billing details, and payment information before submitting the order.
• Before submitting checkout, you can review and correct your entries using the controls available in Receptree, on the Stripe checkout page, or by returning to the previous page in your browser.
• A paid contract is formed only when checkout is successfully completed and the payment or billing setup is accepted. If payment authorization, fraud checks, or billing setup fail, no paid contract is formed.
• You receive an on-screen confirmation and, where applicable, an electronic confirmation to the email address associated with your account.
• Monthly and yearly plans are recurring subscriptions billed in advance.
• Monthly plans renew each month and yearly plans renew each year unless canceled before the next renewal date.
• Recurring renewals are charged using the payment method saved with Stripe unless payment fails or the subscription is canceled in time.
• You can manage billing methods and cancel recurring subscriptions from the billing portal available in your premium settings.
• Cancellation of a recurring subscription takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Premium access remains available until that paid period ends.
• Lifetime access is a one-time payment for the premium entitlement described at checkout. It is not a recurring subscription and is not cancellable through the recurring subscription cancellation flow.
• Prices shown at checkout are the authoritative prices for the selected plan. Taxes, currency conversion, and card issuer fees may apply depending on your location and payment method.
• Payments are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

6. Consumer Withdrawal Rights for EU/EEA Customers

• If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, mandatory consumer law may provide you with a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts.
• Receptree Premium is a digital service. Where applicable law requires an express request for immediate performance and an acknowledgement that the withdrawal right may be lost, the withdrawal right only expires if those conditions are met and premium access begins during the withdrawal period.
• If your withdrawal right has not expired under applicable law and you want to exercise it, contact support@novasas.ch or legal@novasas.ch.
• Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence always override conflicting terms in this document.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, or terminate access for Terms violations, abuse, legal risk, or platform security reasons.

8. Intellectual Property

Receptree software, branding, and design are owned by Novasas unless otherwise stated. Third-party marks such as Fujifilm remain the property of their owners.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

• Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novasas is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
• Aggregate liability is limited to the higher of CHF 100 or amounts paid by you for the Service in the previous 12 months.
• Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by substantive Swiss law. Venue is Solothurn, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes may be notified via website notice, in-app message, or email. Continued use after changes take effect means acceptance.
